There could be 2 or more billion Earth-like planets in existence. That is a lot of planets. It seems likely that some of them would harbor life. Now, all that is needed is to find more of them, and to figure out a way to make faster-than-light travel work. When will all of that happen? Perhaps there are multiple ways to travel between them. Science in the future will have to tell, but this is all that there is here for science in the news today.
